The title for the blog comes from our congregation's first book study on a text by Elizabeth Stuart entitled "Religion Is A Queer Thing: A Guide to the Christian Faith for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered Persons" (Pilgrim Press, 1998).
