"Teacher, which commandment in the law is greatest?"
Jesus said, "'You shall love your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."

I was overwhelmingly surprised that it wasn't until preparing to preach last Sunday that I noticed the words, "and the second is like it." How amazing to see the connection between loving neighbor and loving God so obvious in a scripture often quoted...but it hit me like a ton of bricks "and the second is like it"!
